" ... The music is what you would expect from this rock veteran, i.e. earthy blues-based, wonderfully swinging and heavy. But not only. Here there are acoustic guitars, strings, and fine-tuned ballads. As befits a reputable drummer, the percussion is at the forefront of the very lively soundscape, and Laing's unpolished, slightly hoarse voice, not unlike Keith Richards, shines above it all. The only thing the disc is not, it is not modern. As if taken from 1972, this is a hot melting pot and with this, the author of is this review feels very comfortable."
